During one of her legendary Las Vegas residency shows, Jennifer Lopez gave Drake a special shoutout. But, it's not what you think...
The star was singing and dancing onstage when a snippet of Drizzy's "Hotline Bling" began playing. That's when J. Lo struck a pose and said, “huh, booty caaaalll!” Afterward, Lopez kept right on doing her thing onstage for her fans.
If you think that her deciding to say this during "Hotline Bling" was a coincidence, then guess again because this makes perfect sense -- the MC hits her up...or at least, used to. In Drake's More Life track “Teenage Fever,” the rapper admits to drunk texting J. Lo. "I drunk text J-LoOld number, so it bounce back/ Boi 1da got the bounce back," he raps.
“Teenage Fever” then samples Lopez's "If You Had My Love" and plays a section of the chorus where she originally sings, “Your heart is hard to carry after dark / You’re to blame for what we could have been / ’Cause look at what we are.” The subliminal messages between these two are real. Nevertheless, Lopez is now in a happy new relationship with former Yankees player Alex Rodriguez. Drizzy's truly a thing of the past.
