Miley Cyrus Unveils Artwork + Release Date For New Single 'Younger Now'

Even though Miley Cyrus was noticeably absent from accepting the Ultimate Choice Award at Sunday night's (August 13) TCAs, she does have something special up her sleeve for Friday.

In an Instagram post, where she explained that she couldn't attend the ceremony because she created "an unrealistic schedule" for herself, Cyrus also announced the release of her new single (with accompanying music video) for the title track off her upcoming album, Younger Now.

"I've been tryin to keep the secret but I can't hide it any longer! My new single / music video #YoungerNowwill be dropping this Friday, Aug 18th," the 24-year-old star captioned the artwork for the single, which features an image of mini-Miley. "I am sooooooo EXCITED to share it with all of you! I hope to always make people smile and shine light thru my work! I look forward to making music for the rest of my life and I'm thankful everyday for those who listen!"

After breezing through the summer with the sun-soaked "Malibu," "Younger Now" arrives at a fitting time as her forthcoming LP drops on September 29. Word on the street is the track has a '70s disco vibe meets country vibe, but we won't actually know until Friday. Stay tuned!

You can catch Miley and other chart-toppers like Coldplay, The Weeknd and Thirty Seconds to Mars at our 2017 iHeartRadio Music Festival, which goes down September 22 and 23 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Click here for more information!
