Fresh Pick Live August 14th: Kesha's New Album, Camila Cabello & More

During the May 22nd episode of Fresh Pick Live presented by Vea Snacks, filling in for host Ellie Lee this week is radio host/former VH1 Top 20 Video Countdown host Jim Shearer, who is joined by a panel including playwright/author Cyrus Aaron, WGCI on-air host Trey White, and iHeartRadio's Entertainment Editor Nicole Mastrogiannis to discuss all of the amazing new music that has recently been released.

The group kicked off the episode by discussing Kesha and her brand new album Rainbow. The album is Kesha's first in five years, and shows off a variety of different genres throughout the 14 emotional songs on the record. Well done, Kesha.

Next the group talked about Camila Cabello, who dropped two new songs last week, "Havana" featuring Young Thug and "OMG" featuring Quavo. Is Camila the next Ariana Grande?

Then, the panel discussed P!nk and her new single "What About Us." The song is off of her upcoming 7th studio album Beautiful Trauma (side note: P!nk hasn't released an album since 2012) due out this October, and was written by the pop star herself, Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid, and Steve Mac (and produced by Steve Mac) -- who was also behind Ed Sheeran's hit "Shape of You." The group also discussed P!nk's acrobatic abilities during her concerts.

Next, the panel moved on to Arcade Fire's brand new album Everything Now, before talking about Brett Eldredge's new self-titled third studio album. Brett is hoping this is is "big career album," and recorded it just outside of Nashville in a studio called The Castle -- and yes, it looks like a castle.

Then, the group discussed Avicii, and his brand new EP Avīci, which features six new songs. Avicii announced last year that was retiring from touring, but that he wasn't going to stop creating music. Fast-forward to today, and the producer/DJ gave fans new music.

Finally, the panel talked about Canadian singer/songwriter Lights, and her new single "Giants" from her upcoming album Skin & Earth -- which is being rolled out with a corresponding comic book series.

And this week's Freshest Pick? Miley Cyrus revealed her new album Younger Now, due out September 29th -- just a week after performing in Las Vegas at the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Festival
