Wednesday's wind storm caused the largest outage (in metro Detroit) since 1991. So many of us are without power. A lot of damage was caused to our homes and vehicles and we just hope that you are not injured.

The wind, according to DTE Energy, has downed trees and power lines, caused traffic signals to not work, led to work places closing and contributed to traffic accidents. It has led to extensive tree damage and more than 2,000 downed wires so far, according to DTE Energy's update.

The highest wind gust of 68 mph was reported at Detroit Metro Airport and in Saginaw.

The first list of peak wind gusts comes from the National Weather Service in White Lake, MI. The list covers east and southeast Lower Michigan.

This second list of peak wind gusts comes from the National Weather Service at Grand Rapids, MI. This list is grouped by county, rather than by peak wind gust.
