A native Michigander, I grew up listening to Detroit radio in my hometown of Brighton (my parents, Jess and Georgene and brother Dan still reside there). After graduating from Howell High School in 1984, I expressed myself graphically as a typesetter for 11 years. I then pursued my love of music by attending Specs Howard School of Broadcasting in hopes to break into the radio industry. My dream came true upon graduating from Specs in 1995 when I was hired into WNIC and I've been here ever since!I'm presently WNIC's Assistant Program and Music Director. Besides my on-air shift Monday through Friday from 10am to 3pm, I also can be heard on various commercials on Clear Channel stations in Detroit. I consider my co-workers my "extended" family but I'm happily raising my "real" family at my home in Canton. I'm absolutely the #1 fan of my son Steven, who along with my better-half Bill, our guinea pig Tweak and adopted kitty Sonya, make my world whole.Outside of the station, I enjoy spending time searching for the latest "lost" Beatle recording. I'm a sucker for animals and I readily adopt elderly pets to spoil and love. I simply love my job and the rewards it brings when listeners tell me, "I love WNIC!" My Favorite Websites These are some of my favorite websites that I visit quite frequently. As far as I know, they're family-friendly. I play very addicting (but fun) games at the last two links!www.rachaelraymag.comwww.thebeatles.comwww.paulmccartney.comwww.roushracing.comwww.cartoonnetwork.comwww.nickelodeon.com
