Lululemon Launches 'Experiential Store' With Restaurant And Bar Inside

Detroit Cityscapes and City Views

Lululemon just opened it's biggest store ever. The new space is 20,000 square feet and includes a restaurant, bar, workout studios and a mediation room. Talk about one stop shopping.

The brand new store is located in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago at 944 W. North Ave. The first floor features the brand's popular women's merchandise, including leggings, sports bras, and their new line of personal care products. At first glance, it might look like any other Lululemon location...just bigger. It's once you bop up to the second floor that things start to get interesting.

In addition to having the largest assortment of men's Lululemon merchandise on the second floor of the Lincoln Park location, fans can also find three different studios for mediation, yoga, and high-intensity workout classes. The classes cost $25 a pop, though there is an interesting perk. If you take one of the available classes, you can wear select Lululemon gear from the store free of charge during your workout to test it before you decide if you want to buy it.

Lululemon's first restaurant, called Fuel, is also located on the upper floor. Fuel has a selection of healthy-ish food options, including power bowls, acai berry smoothies and avocado toast. There's also some indulgent options, as well, such as chocolate covered bacon, burgers, and alcoholic beverages.

"We didn't want to take ourselves too seriously," Maureen Erickson, VP of Experiential Retail, told Delish of Fuel's menu options. "We know our guest—what they need today might look different from what they need tomorrow to live their best life."

Should this retail experiment be a success for the wellness brand, there could be more stores like this popping up throughout the country. Lululemon Lincoln Park is now open. Will you be checking it out?
