Chrissy Teigen Didn't Know She Was Pregnant During Breast Implant Surgery

Chrissy Teigen made an interesting admission about expecting her third child with husband John Legend.

Taking to Twitter late last night (August 15), the model revealed she had no idea she was pregnant at the time she underwent her breast implant removal surgery in June.

“I did the routine pregnancy test you do before surgery. It said negative. It was not negative,” Teigen started. “A few weeks after surgery, I took a test. And for many years now, I’ve taken pregnancy tests almost every month, praying to see a positive one day. Just wishful thinking. I never had a positive before.”

“So the morning of John’s [Legend] album release, he wakes up at 3am to do good morning america,” she wrote. “I woke up with him and was like man, should take my monthly test to be disappointed…I was not disappointed. But I was scared shitless. Was pretty positive you shouldn’t get your boobs out while pregnant? Pretty sure.”

Feeling “terrified” at every appointment, Teigen “didn’t think I could get pregnant naturally” even without the surgery.

“So the odds just felt…bad. But what they say so often can be true. When you give up on trying, life has a way of surprising you. In summary, my boobs hurt,” she quipped.

When asked how she relayed the news to her husband, Teigen replied: "I always had this big plan or picture of how I'd do it. Screaming, crying. But it wasn't that at all! Just shock. Just handed it to him with my mouth open. we joked before about allllll the people having corona babies, we really did. 'couldn't be us!!'"

As fans know, the couple, who are also parents to daughter Luna, 4, and son Miles, 2, announced their baby news in Legend’s music video for his song “Wild,” in which the 34-year-old debuted her baby bump in the closing scene.
