A woman named Cat McDonaldrecently took to TikTok to reveal the bombshell news she uncovered after her father gave her a DNA kit for Christmas last year. “Okay, I've got a story for you," she shared with followers. She says she’s always identified as Irish-American, but when the test came back, on St. Patrick’s Day of all things, it revealed that she had no Irish in her at all, and instead her heritage was German and British. When she told her dad he said there was no way she wasn’t Irish so she logged into her account to get more information, which is when she discovered she had an “exact paternal match” on the site, and it wasn’t her father.
