The famous - and REAL - train from the Polar Express movie is selling tickets for this Christmas season's journey. You won't want to hmm and haw deciding on getting tickets because they go FAST!
The Michigan Steam Railroading Insitute's "North Pole Express" is a memory-making experience for people of all ages. Each ticket gets you a round-trip ticket on the Pere Marquette, which is the train from "The Polar Express." Each ride lasts about an hour and leaves from the Steam Railroading Institute in Owosso to the Village of Ashley Country Christmas beginning on Saturday, Nov. 16 and continuing through Saturday, Dec. 21.
The cheapest tickets are between $50 and $54 and are in coach seating, which is bi-level seating. It includes assigned seats, one cup of hot chocolate, a souvenir bell and ticket, and of course admission to the Village of Ashley's Country Christmas. Something new this year is an adults-only class tickets that offers sofa seating, table or swivel-chair seats.
