Kylie Simonds, an 11 year old girl, has invented a portable IV system that works of of a backpack. It's light and allows kids to slip it on and go rather than having to push the the heavier and more cumbersome trad."It was hard to walk around, and I always had to have someone push it for me because I was ... weak when I was in chemo," she told of her old IV poles.
Kylie says she wanted to help her friends that she met in chemo: a boy on crutches who can't work his crutches and push the cart and a girl who has to take the pole home with her.
