Meet Marcel! He's five-years-old and was diagnosed last year with stage 4 neuroblastoma. He had surgery to remove a tumor off of his spinal cord and a few months later went back into surgery through the stomach to try to get the rest of the cancer.
Marcel has had five rounds of chemo, six rounds of immunotherapy, 13 rounds of radiation, two bone marrow transplants and a ton of physical therapy. He was in a wheelchair from the spinal surgeries and had to learn how to walk again.
Marcel is stable right now and gets scans every three months. He's walking with his braces on he's legs and is going to school. He's a miracle!
He absolutely loves the Avengers, Hulk and Spider-Man. He loves to play outside and is a ball of energy from the time he wakes up until the time he goes to bed.
He's going to LOVE going to Disney thanks to Kroger, Planet Fitness, Canterbury Village, Masco, Hollywood Casino at Greektown, Emagine Entertainment, Absopure, DFCU Financial and Angels of Hope.
