Meet Micah!

Meet Micah!

She was born 2-1/2 months early, arriving right before Christmas. From the moment Micah arrived, she was a fighter and determined to defy the odds stacked against her. With a prognosis that Micah would not survive past the first week of life or be able to establish any relationships due to her mental capacity not being able to differentiate between family and a stranger, Micah not only has a very connected relationship with her family and recognizes each one of them, she is turning 5yrs old this December.

Micah is so full of life and joy, and has the biggest smile that will light up any room. She enjoys watching her favorite cartoon Buster Bus Bus on repeat, going for walks while her brother pushes her in her wheelchair, rolling around during floor time, showing us her determination by constantly fighting to sit or stand when given the opportunity, and playing possum when she’s not in the mood for her therapy sessions.

Micah is not just full of joy, but she is very silly and even though she’s nonverbal, she still manages to keep everyone all laughing. She is the core of our faith and a daily reminder that life is always worth fighting for no matter how tough it gets. She is a Super Hero!!!

We're so excited to take their family to Disney World with the help of Jersey Mikes, Planet Fitness, Kroger, Masco, Emagine Theatres, Canterbury Village and our charitable partner Angels of Hope!
