Meet Adalyn!

Meet Adalyn!

In 2016, she was born a micro-preemie at 25 weeks with her identical twin sister Brinley. The girls needed a lot of support at birth, especially in the respiratory department. Adalyn had a grade 4 brain bleed at birth, fought infections, & underwent heart surgery. Both our girls had a very challenging start in this world, and despite all efforts Brinley lost her fight and passed away at 20 days old. Adalyn stayed in the NICU for 90 days and had to come home on oxygen.

There were so many fears for her future, but she has defied so many odds over the years. Adalyn has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, asthma, autism, and patella tracking disorder. Over the years Adalyn has had a lot of doctors' appointments, therapies, hospital stays, & procedures.

Adalyn is now 7 years old and is the happiest kid I know! She loves playing baseball for the Miracle League of Michigan & her spectrum skills karate class she calls “hi-ya class,” she's a major chocoholic, loves arts & crafts, and spending time with her family & friends!

We're so excited to take her family to Disney World with the help of Jersey Mikes, Planet Fitness, Kroger, Masco, Emagine Theatres, Canterbury Village and our charitable partner Angels of Hope!
