Today (Aug. 4), Katy Perry released her video for her latest single, "Rise," and it makes you feel all types of inspired.
The visual shows a struggling Katy trying her hardest to rise to the sky. After never giving up, the singer eventually reaches her goal and is headed for the stars.
Produced by Max Martin and Ali Payami, "Rise" is the anthem for the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics.
“This is a song that’s been brewing inside of me for years that has finally come to the surface,” Perry said on her website. “I was inspired to finish it now, rather than save it for my next album, because now more than ever, there is a need for our world to reunite. I know that we can rise above the fear—in our country and around the world.”
