Taste of Greece Festival

The "Taste of Greece" Festival reappears every August at Nativity Church, 39851 Five Mile Road, Plymouth, Michigan.

This August will be its 13th year and it will take place on Friday, August 25th, 5-11 p.m., Saturday, August 26th, noon-11 p.m., and Sunday, August 27th, noon-7 p.m.

Over 5,000 people journey to Greece right in their own backyards at our festival with the sights, sounds, and tastes of Greece.

There is live Greek music, traditional Greek dancing, homemade Greek food including spinach pie, gyros, and saganaki (flaming cheese), as well as famous Greek pastries including loukoumathes (a tasty and sweet donut-type treat).  There is a Greek taverna with Ouzo slushies, a marketplace, and a coffee house with the best Greek coffee in town!  Church tours are available as well as Orthodox Christianity exhibits.  A Kids' Corner with bounce houses, slides, and games entertains children.  Large tent cover makes any day comfortable, rain or shine.

The "Taste of Greece" Festival won Second Best Festival in the Detroit Area in 2016 by WDIV Click On Detroit! (Second only to the Ann Arbor Art Fair!)
