Join Chelsea at the First Annual Scavenger Safari

Join Chelsea from Jay Towers in the Morning and 100.3 WNIC at the Detroit Zoo for the Children's Leukemia Foundation of Michigan for the first Annual Scavenger Safari on Saturday June 1st!

The Scavenger Safari is Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan’s (CLF) premier family event. It brings together patients, families and community members for an adventurous scavenger hunt through the Detroit Zoo. Participants pay a registration fee of $50/person and create teams of 4-8 people to raise money and awareness for blood cancer support. Additional fundraising beyond the registration fee is encouraged and prizes are available at various fundraising levels.

Support from the Scavenger Safari will go to work immediately to help the 3,200 patients and families that we serve each year. More than 1,400 reside in the Metro-Detroit area, and your support will make a difference for those in need! By participating in this event, you are helping to provide disease and treatment education, social work based emotional support, financial assistance, and opportunities for fun for these patients and families.

Parking, lunch, and admission to the zoo after the event are all included in the $50 registration fee. CLF patients and children 5 and under may attend for free.
