Congrats, Ms. Hopping! You're Jay Towers in the Morning's Teacher of the Week!
Amy Y: Ms. Hopping is celebrating 30 years of teaching this year. She is a wonderful classroom teacher but also a leader at our school. She started the Green Team and helped St. Michael the Archangel School earn an Evergreen Status. She has given up her weekends to help coach our Quiz Bowl team for many years and has led several teams to Nationals. She also takes time each sport season to go watch her students play. And... she play the guitar & sings during VBS each summer. I am sure this is more, but this is all I know about. I love most her passion for reading and her great desire to make every student a great reader.
