Gift Wrapping Station in Rochester Hills to Benefit Jay's Juniors

The Village of Rochester Hills, metropolitan Detroit’s premier outdoor lifestyle shopping center, is pleased to announce a charity gift-wrapping initiative with all proceeds benefitting Jay’s Juniors, a program dedicated to supporting chronically and terminally ill children. The Gift-Wrapping Station will take place on weekends starting Friday, November 29th and will conclude Sunday, December 22nd. The hours are Friday 5 – 8PM, Saturday 12 – 8PM, and Sunday 1 –5PM. The Village of Rochester Hills will be providing all the materials needed along with skilled volunteer wrappers that will personally gift wrap each package. Shoppers will be able to have all gifts wrapped with a minimum suggested donation of $5 for small packages, $6 for medium packages and $7 for large packages. The Village of Rochester Hills will match donations received during this holiday initiative and 100% of all proceeds will be going to Jay’s Juniors. The Jay’s Juniors Gift-Wrapping station will be located within The Village of Rochester Hills at 346 N Adams Rd, Rochester Hills, MI 48309.

The Village of Rochester Hills is excited for this inaugural partnership with Jay’s Juniors. “The holidays are a time of giving and we are proud to partner with Jay’s Juniors to help brighten children’s lives,” says Kara Engblom, Marketing Coordinator, The Village of Rochester Hills. “We hope all Village of Rochester Hills shoppers and the community can come together to support this great cause.”

This December will mark the 6th year that Jay’s Juniors has taken children and their families on an all-expenses paid trip to Walt Disney World. The hopes for these trips are that these families are able to make some wonderful memories while experiencing a trip of a lifetime. “Since I started Jay’s Juniors, I have been overwhelmed with the support from organizations to help this cause that is so near and dear to my heart. I am thankful for the Village of Rochester Hills and the community from coming together this holiday season. Being able to bring joy and happiness for all these children and their families and take their minds off everything else, gives me all the joy in the world,” says Jay Towers, Founder of Jay’s Juniors, Morning show anchor on WJBK-TV (FOX) and host of Jay Towers in the Morning on WNIC-FM 100.3.

In addition, Santa’s personal mailbox will be in place and children can bring their letters to Santa or write them onsite in the children’s letter writing area. All letters will be delivered directly to the North Pole and some letters may even be highlighted by the Village of Rochester Hills throughout the holiday season.
