How crazy is this...Carly Novell is a senior at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and hid in a closet during the school shooting.
Her grandpa was forced to do the same thing almost 70 years ago! There was a serial killer who killed 13 people in New Jersey in 1949 and Carly's grandpa hid in a closet to avoid the killer.
She now feels she 'shares something really important with him.'
