Meet Silas!
He's 3-years-old and has always been a very happy and positive individual. He maintained his attitude even when he was sick everyday and didn’t have much energy.
He continued to be himself after his Leukemia diagnosis (April 10th 2021), and through all the poking and surgeries with the initial hospital stay.
He takes his chemo everyday himself without any issues.
He is a silly guy, with the insane amount of toys he has acquired, his favorite things to play with are vacuums and bungee cords.
He loves smiling and laughing, roughhousing, the park, and loves his 2 dogs Petey and Pilar, as well as his “fat cat” Mister.
He is as tough as they come and a makes this disaster look easy. Like he is just brushing off a little cancer.
It’s so impressive and inspiring which is why we're taking him and his family to Disney! We couldn't do this without Kroger, Planet Fitness, Canterbury Village, Masco, Hollywood Casino at Greektown, Emagine Entertainment, Absopure, DFCU Financial and Angels of Hope.
