For 30 plus years, the US Postal Service has been helping people here
in our neighborhood communities battle hunger and here's how you can help.
Stamp Out Hunger is Saturday, May 10. It's easy to participate - just put your
non-perishable food items out by your mailbox and your mail person will pick it up
and distribute it to local food banks and pantries. It's become a tradition for
my family to help on this special day and maybe it can become the same for
you and yours!
I had the honor of speaking with Dave Zarek, representing Letter Carriers with the US Postal Service
and he explained how easy it is to be a part of Stamp Out Hunger for
each and every one of us. Looking out for others in our community is what it's
all about! Check out the interview below and thanks in advance for joining
this much needed cause.
